ライム病のアップデートをしたいと思います。
July 2
Noticed a pimple on right side of my body.
右脇腹にニキビのようなものを発見、気になり出す。
July 5
Noticed a red swelling on the same area. It was itchy.
ニキビを中心に赤く腫れてくる。 痒くなってきた。
July 6
Red swelling became bulls eye like "Target" mark. It became really itchy.
弓矢の的のような痕に変わる。 痒みが増してきた。
July 7
This morning, not only the itchiness but there was severe pain so I went to the hospital. Doctor told me the mark is definitely a lyme disease but will take blood for a test. The result will be back in a week. Meanwhile, I was prescribed for doxycycline, an antibiotic, for 3 weeks; which is usual lyme disease treatment. This doxycycline seems to make stomach upset so I was also prescribed for stomach pills. Also the doxycycline somehow makes severe sunburn, I have to be careful under the sun. I cannot take any dairy product for 2 hours after drinking the pills.
朝起きたら、痕は変わらないものの、痒みが尋常じゃないだけでなく、ヒリヒリ＆ズキズキ痛い。 ネットで調べてもライム病ぽいんで、急いで病院へ行く。 先生もライム病であることは確実と言っていたのですが、念のため検査をします、とのことで、血液採取されたが結果は1週間後。 それから、ライム病だとマズイのでライム病の薬を飲むことになる。 ドキシサイクリンという抗生物質を約3週間。 この抗生物質は胃もたれを起こすので、胃薬ももらう。 またドキシサイクリンの副作用として日焼けに弱くなるらしいので日差しには気をつけるとのこと。 乳製品も控えること。
July 13
Test was negative but doctor told me that early stage testing is usually comes out as negative. So doctor told me to continue to drink doxycycline and when they are done I will have a re-test.
血液検査の連絡があったが陰性。 先生曰く、早期のテストは陰性になることが多いので、抗生物質を飲み終わったころに再検査するということを進められた。 ただ、飲み終わった頃にはライム病は完治してるとのこと。
July 27
I went to the doctor again. The reddish mark became light brown color. No more itchiness. Doxycycline makes me upset stomach and fatigue but overall feeling much better. I did the testing again but the result will come in few days.
また病院に行った。 赤い痕は薄い茶色に変色。 かゆみはないが、ドキシサイクリンのせいなのか胃もたれと疲れが毎日襲う。 先生には再検査をしてもらったが、結果は数日後ということ。
July 28
No more antibiotic and stomach pills. Relief.
抗生物質と胃薬が終わる。 ホッとした。
July 31
Doctor called me and the test result was positive. It seems like the testing is based on how much antibody the person have so I think with this 3 weeks of antibiotics, I have developed enough antibody that will hit the test result. At any rate, three weeks of antibiotic will kill the lyme disease so I am okay now.
病院から連絡があり、ライム病の陽性反応があったとのこと。 これでライム病持ちってことが決定ｗ どうやらテストは抗体で反応するぽく、この抗生物質を飲んでいた3ヶ月の間に抗体ができて、陽性反応が出たってことだそうです。 抗生物質を必要期間飲んだのでライム病もなくなったとのことなので、やっとライムフリーです。 C=(^◇^ ; ﾎｯ!
＜考察＞
June 23に近場の岩を探しに行った時に噛まれたんだと思います。 それ以降はアウトドアはなかったので。 しかも草むらを突き進んだので…。
と言うことは、、、
約10日間くらいが潜伏期間だったということでしょうか。
約2週間目で抗生物質投与開始。
一緒にいたtakaには何もなかった模様。
それから、ドキシサイクリン投与中はクライミングのパフォーマンスは落ちた気がする。 疲労感が特に影響してたのかと思います。 体重が増えているのにもかかわらず、飲み終わってからは体調も良くなり動きも大分改善。 少し安心しました。 クライミングシーズンの秋に向けてコツコツ頑張ります。
