Leavenworth bouldering summary

Wanted to update summary of Leavenworth bouldering trip.

＜access-アクセス＞

Driving from Vancouver, WA was 4.5 hours or less.  Camping here is pretty tough because Leavenworth is a tourist town and are packed with people.  We were able to get a campsite but if not we have to be on the side of Icicle Rd with no water....

住んでるVancouver, WAからは4.5時間だが4時間で到着できた。　Leavenwrothはドイツ村として観光地化されているのでキャンプ場を確保するのが大変。　たまたま空いていたところを予約できたが、だめなら野テントしかなかった。　8月は暑いのでシャワーがほしいところ…。

＜weather-天気＞
85 degrees and less humidity.  If you are not in the shades the sun will be beating you and was super hot!

29-30℃だったが湿度は低い。　でも日差しがあたるところは体感温度はもっと高く、乾燥していても暑くて汗だくになれる。　朝は比較的涼しし、夕方（18時くらいから日没20時半）は涼しい。


＜climbing-クライミング＞
Granite like Pawtuckaway meaning you will encounter some sloper problems but there were face and overhanging problems.  Boulder areas are pretty scattered so you have to drive and change the area but each approach is less than 10 minutes depending on the problem.  Uphill was more of an issue to me:(

小川山・瑞牆と似た花崗岩だった。　岩が集まっているところが点在しているため、ひとつのエリアを車で移動する感じ。　駐車場からのアプローチは10分もかからない距離だが上り坂がキツイ。　フェースもハングも何でもあるが、なぜだかやった課題たちはスタート核心が多かったｗ

many sharp granite but I love them. very similar to Ogawayama and Mizugaki

＜food-食事＞

You can enjoy German food and beer!

Leavenwrothはドイツ村なんでドイツの食べ物やビールが大半。　でもソーセージを安く食べようと思ったらスタンドで買うんですがほとんどがホットドッグorz　これってアメリカンなんじゃないの？と思ってしまったおいらでした。
