Yasu and Mayu joined today but Yasu brought rain to Coopers, arghhhh.  Today, I was thinking of having a rest.  First we went to Picnic Table Area.  Yasu and I finished Humpy V4***, the trick was the toe cam...

We all moved to Upper Rock City Area.  taka finished Dextrose V3**, a very funcky top out sequence.  I introduced Tomb Raider V3**** to Yasu and I was staring at Tomb Raider Roof V7***.  The start hold of this V7 was wet like it said on the  guide book but then Art and Esten of Adventures in Pebble Wrestling came over and told me that it is in good condition.  I thought the rain will ruin the problem for couple of few days and they were giving me some beta, although no finger skin left I started to work on it.
When I was struggling with this V7, Frenchy and his crew came.  We all had sessions.  I was managed to go to the mantling position however the crux of this entire problem was the topout.  I fell from the top and I thought this mantle is not possible but taka figured the move for me.  With the final try, I did her move and red pointed it.  Although mantle looks ugly but it was a good send for me.


今日はセイタ君とマユミちゃんが合流。　セイタ君が雨雲を持ってきた模様ｗ　セイタ君がミニルーフを希望してたのでPicnic Table Areaへ直行。　例によってアプローチは1分未満。

おいらは3日連続なんでさすがにレストデー、と思ってたら、やっぱり登りたくなってしまったんでセイタ君が頑張ってやってたHumpy V4***をやる。　トーをジャムるってことが分かれば簡単だった。　

雲行きは更に怪しくなってきたがUpper Rock City Areaへ移動。　おいら以外の3人はセッション開始。　takaは数便でDextrose V3**を登る。　そしたら雷が鳴り始め、雨が降ってきたんで、様子見ってことでTomb Raiderの岩で雨宿り、と思って移動したら雨が止む…。　ラッキー。

セイタ君にTomb Raider V3****を紹介し、おいらはお隣のTomb Raider Roof V7***をチェック。　このV7はトポにも書いてあるのだがスターとホールドがいつも濡れているらしく、今日ももちろん濡れてる。　濡れてるなー、スタートはどないしてやるんやろうなぁ、って観察してたら、おいらがいつも気になってたAdventures in Pebble Wrestlingというブログを書いてるクライマーさんArtとEstenが現れたのだー。　彼らはここに何回か来てるのでV7を教えてもらうｗ　スタートはどうやら濡れてるけど乾燥している方だって、マジカ？ｗ　スタートが痛くて結構難しいということも分かった。　デモまでしてくれたんで、指皮ないけど、雨が怪しいし、岩の乾燥状態を優先して登ることにした。　

完全にセイタ君の登りはそっちのけで、V7に打ち込んでいたら、Frenchyご一行が参上。　もちろんヒョロナガFrenchyとセッションになるｗ　おいらはスタートの数手が自動化された時点でマントルポジションまで行けた。が、核心はマントルみたいで上から落っこちてしまう　(≡д≡) ｶﾞｰﾝ　マントルは嫌いじゃないのに…。　takaに動画撮ってもらってたんで登りを確認してみる。　takaから足位置の修正を指摘してもらい、頭の中で組み立て、もう一度トライ。　動画に映ってるマントルはブッサイクだけど、必死にマントル返して完登できた。　マントルが難しい理由は上部はすぐさまスラブに突入するということと、スラブ面には甘いカチしかないということ。

最後にスタート位置が違ったかもしれないのでRaiders of the Lost TombV5+***を今一度リピートするが一発でできたので、まぁあんまり気にしないでもいいのかもね、とｗ
