| snow in Buttermilks |
No climbing due to heavy snow dump last night. Glen got chains for his car, we rented snow shoes, and went out to Buttermilks.
I think at least 1.5 feet of snow was dumped. We walked about an hour with the snow shoes. The air was crispy and the mountains were beautiful. Very good for fun but not good at all for climbing.

昨晩かなり雪が降ってしまったので、クライミングは諦めることに。 Glenが車のチェーンを購入したので、みんなでスノーシューズをレンタルしてButtermilksでハイキングでもすることにした。
Buttermilksは40cmは余裕で積もってた。 結構な車がいて、クライマーは岩のチェックをしてたが、他は雪の中で車を走らせて遊んだり、ソリをしたり、スキーしたりさまざまだった。
なかなかこんなに雪が降ることはないんだろうなぁと思いながら、冷たく乾燥した空気を吸って3人ではしゃいでましたｗ
